About.
I am a lawyer and notary public in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario servicing the Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.
I started my academic journey at Dalhousie University, pursing a double major in political science and sociology with a minor in law. To refine my skills prior to law school, I obtained a Paralegal Diploma with honours from the Nova Scotia Community College. I then ventured across borders and obtained my law degree from Detroit Mercy School of Law, where I served on Moot Court as an Associate Board Director and received the Book Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Small Firm Practice in Canada Law Firm Program. I also completed two internships at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. In 2018, I returned to Ontario to obtain my Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation. And in 2020, I was called to the Ontario Bar. After five years in civil litigation, I opened my own solicitor-based practice primarily focused on estate planning.
My experience in various cities, offices and practice areas has instilled an appreciation for the complexities of the law and a commitment to comprehensive and collaborative legal services.
Outside of work, I enjoying playing volleyball and golf, and spending time with family and friends.
